Red Carpet: Kate Bosworth Goes 7/8

I find Kate Bosworth fascinating. Nominally an actress, she seems to make her bread and butter walking around wearing pretty things.

Look 1: I tried on this Erdem x H&M dress when the collection was released last month and loved it, although it was still out of my price range. It was one of my favorite looks from their collaboration.

Look 2: This one is the miss for me. The designer is Antonio Maras and it’s a mess- just a hodgepodge of tacky, from the ruching to the embellishments.

Look 3: This is a rare Alexander Vauthier that I like. His stuff trends towards the sheer and skimpy. But this is so Dynasty and shiny and over the top in a way that suits her.

Look 4: Straight off the runway from Erdem’s most recent non-H&M collection, this is a lovely English garden of a dress.

Look 5: Oh my how I love this (obviously) Oscar de la Renta. He famously and reluctantly allowed his signature to be used on Sarah Jessica Parker’s Met Gala 2014 gown. After his death, the line has continued to incorporate his signature, which is a lovely tribute to a great man.

Look 6: This look is from Rochas, and like the OdlR it fits her balletic aesthetic really well. I am super in love with the feathered Roger Vivier sandals.

Look 7: Another charming Oscar de la Renta. Love this- effortlessly chic and incredibly sunny.

Look 8: This look is courtesy of my favorite Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham! I am a longtime Posh fan (I was even Posh Spice in my friends Spice Girls group in 4th grade) and have loved following her incredible success in the fashion world. Her line has evolved along with her personal fashion from structured cocktail dresses to slouchy chic knitwear.
