This is the Kate Uniform. Just, the most Kate-iest outfit. She has been wearing those same Penelope Chilvers boots since she first met William, and the Barbour jacket is a classic. She was visiting the Robin Hood Primary school to celebrate their work with the Royal Horticultural Society.
This Kate Spade is really fun, and sadly unavailable in stores yet. Here she’s visiting The Foundling Museum, which explores the history of the Foundling Hospital, the UK’s first children’s charity and first public art gallery, which looks terribly interesting. This was her first appearance since the engagement was announced, and I imagine it was a little hard for everyone to concentrate on the important work of the Foundling Hospital, when all they wanted to shout was “MEGHAN + HARRY 4 EVA!”
Finally, last week she and Wills stepped out in full black tie for the Royal Variety Performance. I don’t like this sparkly Jenny Packham as much as I wanted to. It’s VERY Elsa from Frozen, from the color to the shape, and the paillettes a bit too hodgepodge.
Two for three isn’t bad though, especially since a month ago Kate couldn’t even leave the house. Looking forward to seeing what Meghan wears on Friday at her first official appearance!
